Greetings Beloved,
“Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord.” Jeremiah 9:23-24
How do we maintain God’s glory in our lives or navigate from glory to glory in this walk with the Lord?
In simple terms, how do we progress from one level into the next level with God who is the author and finisher of our faith?
Many may think that growth and maturity just happens, but it is a conscious choice for every believer.
We can choose to stay where we are forever and remain in the season of our present circumstances or we can decide to meet our future, our spiritual growth and every obstacle with faith in God, goals to succeed and a resistance not to quit.
Once we are committed to do whatever it takes to finish strong, we must then determine what the Lord’s will is for us by searching out His Word, and finally with every ounce of perseverance take the stance to believe and fight for it.
In this journey we will all face good days and days where our faith is challenged, my friend we must remember that each time we are challenged there is promise that it will do something beautiful in me, and ultimately it brings a deeper connection and a closer walk with our God.
We must resist the urges to quit, surrender to discouragement or to bring the arm of the flesh into play. In other words, we must resist taking matters into our own hands due to our impatience, and our inability to wait on God, thus taking matters into our own hands and operating in the natural realm.
When we learn to run to Him first and ask Him for His wisdom, strength, and courage, along with the ability to believe Him for the breakthrough, then there is a true and intimate relationship developing between us and Him.
If we continue to build this muscle, we will inevitably create a lifestyle. This becomes our plan A, it is intentional and it is backed up by the Almighty Himself, this is not a Hail Mary tossed to Him frantically in hopes He catches it.
Once our goal is established, then the pattern is created, and as we proceed forward we will grow spiritually stronger through whatever we face, and it will create a sense of trust that helps us to run to Him first without hesitation.
Hebrews 4:16
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
God desires us to love, trust and depend on Him wholeheartedly.
Let us give ourselves totally to Him, in Jesus’ Glorious Name!
Love You All!
